Curiosity is at the heart of everything I do.

My father has always said I was born a psychologist. Long before I pursued my formal education in marriage and family therapy, I was fascinated by the extraordinary complexity of human behavior and the worlds we create together. How we think, feel, reason, and make meaning. How our individual perspectives intersect, influence one another, and give rise to relationships, groups, cultures, and entire systems.

I believe each of us experiences reality through a prism shaped by everything we've lived through: our relationships, our environments, our cultures, and the adaptations we've made along the way. Some of these influences are conscious, while others operate outside our awareness. Together, they shape what we believe, what we expect, how we respond, and what we imagine is possible.

I'm equally fascinated by the structures we've collectively created to organize our lives. The ways we define relationships, families, success, identity, leadership, and belonging are not fixed or universal truths. They're human constructions, shaped by history, culture, and shared agreements. They can serve us beautifully, constrain us profoundly, or do both at once. And because we've created them, we have the capacity to question, reconsider, and reshape them.

For me, working with people is as much an act of creativity as it is one of understanding.

It engages my intellect, intuition, and imagination, whether I'm discovering something remarkable about the way someone experiences the world, exploring the intricate dynamics of a relationship or organization, or participating in the process of meaningful change.

My formal education gave me the language, historical context, and professional credentials for work that had already been part of my life for decades.
